Upgrade Building Monitoring Systems and Panel firm

Background
The National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Child Health and Development (NICHD) intends to award a purchase order without providing for full and open competition to Siemens Industry, Inc. for services to upgrade building automation/monitoring systems and upgrade panel firmware. The staff oversees multiple aquatic facilities on the NIH campus, caring for cavefish, zebrafish, and frogs from different institutes and labs. These animals are used for various research purposes and require constant monitoring to prevent unnecessary stress and harm. Upgrading software/firmware is necessary for monthly remote monitoring of the Building 6 Shared Zebrafish Facility (6SZF) and decentralized aquatic facilities (DAF).

Work Details
The services required include providing software with licensing to match the existing system for the new system, replacing existing reports with customized reports, creating new graphics, converting or upgrading additional graphics, providing workstations, SQL Server installation, user licenses, user-defined views, user scopes, labor for setting up RENO with the same designations as in the current software, testing the new software for proper operation, onsite training for personnel, additional training, labor to flash existing field panels to the latest firmware, maintaining existing WIMS computer and archived data by others, registration fees for new software classes, coordinating with customer to minimize impact to the building, and warranty.
