Background
The Social Security Administration (SSA) aims to establish a contract vehicle to support maintenance and support services for Multimedia Centers (MMCs). This initiative is intended to enhance mission performance by maintaining and acquiring Video Teleconferencing (VTC) equipment, providing on-site support services, and ensuring smooth transitions for SSA employees and the public.

Work Details
The contractor will provide ongoing and preventative maintenance of MMC/VTC equipment and software, on-site support services, inventory verification, technical and project management support, response times for critical outages, real-time updates on inventory tracking, documentation and management reports of MMC/VTC operations, usage reports per location, relocations and MAC requests for equipment, procurement, upgrade and installation of equipment, technology refresh methods as IT advances, and enhancements to improve efficiency.

The contractor must ensure Section 508 compliance in all deliverables.

Period of Performance
The contract will cover twenty-five current and future MMCs with ongoing maintenance and MAC support.

Place of Performance
The contract work will be performed at various SSA locations as specified in the MMC Sites List.
