Description

Operations Center Information Management System (OCIMS) Operations and Maintenance (O&M)
Background
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) aims to license and regulate the civilian use of radioactive materials, ensuring public health and safety, promoting defense and security, and protecting the environment.

The NRC activates its incident response program at its Headquarters Operations Center (HOC) and Regional Incident Response Centers during emergencies.

Work Details
The contractor will provide 24/7 maintenance support for OCIMS, including software upgrades to maintain system integrity. Tasks include:
- Operating, supporting, and maintaining OCIMS
- Managing component configurations
- Providing system and security administration support
- Ensuring compliance with NRC standards, NIST guidelines, and CISA requirements
- Supporting disaster recovery
- Assisting regional centers
- Conducting market research for modernization efforts
- Procuring software as specified in task orders
- Providing performance input.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from August 1, 2021 to July 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
The primary place of performance is the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Headquarters in Rockville, MD.
