Background
The Department of the Interior (DOI), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) is seeking Disaster Recovery Services to accommodate a catastrophic event that requires the movement/relocation of data center services and equipment to another site, relocation of key staff, and yearly testing of critical applications. The disaster recovery services are crucial for the protection, availability, and reliability of automated information applications under all conditions.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide various information technology resources including an IBM mainframe for disaster recovery testing, hot site facilities for network devices and mainframe backup operation, hosting DOI network circuits and devices, and providing or hosting DOI servers. Additionally, the contractor must ensure physical facilities, equipment, network communications, security, technical support, operational support, consulting support, and other supplies and services required under this requirement. The contractor must also meet specific security requirements for the recovery facilities.

Period of Performance
Transition Period: 03/15/2024 – 11/14/2024; Base Period: 11/15/2024 – 11/14/2025; Option Period 1: 11/15/2025 – 11/14/2026; Option Period 2: 11/15/2026 – 11/14/2027; Option Period 3: 11/15/2027 – 11/14/2028; Option Period 4: 11/15/2028 – 11/14/2029

Place of Performance
The disaster recovery services will be performed at various locations including the Albuquerque Data Center (ADC) located in New Mexico and a business recovery site in Lakewood, Colorado.
