Background
The Dell PowerProtect Backup Service contract is issued by the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) Central, located at 12201 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston, VA. The mission of this contract is to provide a comprehensive data protection solution that supports both on-premise and cloud workloads. The goal is to modernize and future-proof data protection strategies for the agency, ensuring enhanced scalability, cyber resilience, and compliance readiness through a fully automated Software as a Service (SaaS) model.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Dell PowerProtect Backup Services for Hybrid Workloads for a base year and four option years. The services include:
- A seamless data protection solution that backs up on-premise workloads to a cloud target.
- A single platform that supports both on-premise and cloud workloads.
- A unified management console for reporting, policy setting, and monitoring across all workloads and locations.
- No additional hardware or customer-managed infrastructure required; it is a 100% SaaS solution.
- No infrastructure lifecycle management needed, including software updates and maintenance.
- No ingress or egress fees for backup data.
The service will be priced as a bundle for the base year and four option years with specific line items detailing various components of the service.

Period of Performance
Base Year: 02/23/2026 to 02/22/2027;
Option Year 1: 02/23/2027 to 02/22/2028;
Option Year 2: 02/23/2028 to 02/22/2029;
Option Year 3: 02/23/2029 to 02/22/2030;
Option Year 4: 02/23/2030 to 02/22/2031.
