Amendment 0002: This amendment is to provide answers to recieved PPIs and incorporate changes under Non-Cost Factor 4 Technical Solution, Host Nation Requirements, Part 3, and BOQ. The revised BOQ (PDF and Excel Formats) is provided to offerors for proposal submission. The date set for receipt of proposals is unchanged and remains on August 28, 2024 at 1100am, Thailand Time.

Amendment 0001: The proposal due date is changed from August 26, 2024 to August 28, 2024, no later than 11:00 a.m. Thailand time.

Solicitation: The solicitation is provided in the attachment. A pre-proposal site visit (PPSV) has been scheduled for August 1, 2024 at 9:00 AM.

Contractors are required to arrive at the lobby of Kompleks MARITIM Tun Abg Salehuddin (KOMTAS) before 08:50 AM on August 1, 2024 to meet with NAVFAC personnel.

The deadline for submitting pre-proposal inquiries (PPIs) is August 6, 2024.

Background
The contract is issued by NAVFAC for the construction of Maritime Training Facilities in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. The goal of the contract is to renovate existing facilities to support maritime training operations, enhancing the capabilities of personnel involved in maritime activities.

Work Details
The scope of work includes multiple construction tasks across various facilities as detailed below:

1. **Renovation of Barracks (CLIN 001)**:
- Repainting walls (including removal of existing paint and finishes)
- Installation and repair of windows and exterior doors
- Interior construction tasks including toilet doors and skirt tiles
- Repainting walls in toilets and installation of wall finishes
- Floor finishes (removal and installation of floor tiles)
- Ceiling installations
- Plumbing works including water closets, lavatories, clean water distribution lines, and wastewater distribution lines
- HVAC installations for air conditioning systems
- Fire protection measures including fire extinguishers
- Electrical service and distribution, lighting & branch wiring installations
- Furnishings including mattresses, wardrobes, office desks, and ergonomic chairs.

2. **Renovation of DFAC (CLIN 002)**:
- Similar plumbing works as CLIN 001 with additional equipment like freestanding cookers, chillers, freezers, projectors, and dining furniture.

3. **Renovation of Training Facility (CLIN 003)**:
- HVAC installations, fire protection measures, electrical service setups along with furnishings such as instructor desks and student desks.

4. **Renovation of Shore Maintenance Facility (CLIN 004)**:
- Interior finishes including repair of cracked slabs, electrical service installations, equipment like industrial work benches and storage solutions.

5. **Site Preparation**: Across all CLINs includes site clearing, mobilization/de-mobilization activities, and utility connections for water supply and electricity.
