Background
The solicitation is for the D-B Africa First IDIQ Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) in Djibouti, Africa. It is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a 60-month effective period and a total aggregate MACC value not to exceed $25,000,000. The contract will involve renovation, repair, and demolition of various infrastructure primarily located at Camp Lemonier and other locations throughout Djibouti.

Work Details
The construction projects to be performed will include renovation or repair, and demolition of Administration Buildings, Community Buildings, Recreational Facilities, Containerized Living Units (CLUs), and other Infrastructure primarily located at Camp Lemonier and various locations throughout Djibouti. The projects will consist of general building type projects including waterfront, pier, quay, industrial, airfield, aircraft hangar, infrastructure, administrative, training, retail, food service, dormitory, medical clinics, community supported facilities and both vertical and horizontal construction.

The work includes site improvement, general construction, electrical, fire protection, and mechanical. The contractors are required to provide all labor, supervision, engineering, design, materials, equipment, tool parts supplies and transportation for each task order.

Period of Performance
The contract's period of performance is from 01-OCT-2023 to 30-SEP-2028.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed primarily at Camp Lemonier and various locations throughout Djibouti.
