Description

Provide diagnosis of electronics and determine what is causing the issue and replace parts of the GCMS system manufactured by Agilent Technologies, Inc. The DEA intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source order to Agilent Tecnologies, Inc. 2850 Centerville Road, Wilmington, DE 19808, for the purpose of acquiring maintenance service and parts. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis in accordance with 13.106-1(b)(l)(i) Only One Source Reasonably Available. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334516. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice is NOT a request for proposal. However, all capability statements received by April 17, 2025 at 2:00 PM EST will be considered by the Government. Any source capable of providing the maintenance and parts and is interested in submitting a capabilities statement may do so electronically to Ms. Angel Barkley at angel.d.barkley@dea.gov.

Background
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source order to Agilent Technologies, Inc. for maintenance service and parts for the GCMS system. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis due to Agilent Technologies being the only authorized vendor capable of providing OEM certified repair and maintenance services on their equipment.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for diagnosing electronics issues within the GCMS system manufactured by Agilent Technologies, determining the cause of these issues, and replacing necessary parts. The work includes:
- Conducting diagnostics on the GCMS system to identify malfunctions.
- Providing replacement parts as needed based on diagnostic results.
- Ensuring all repairs and maintenance adhere to OEM standards set by Agilent Technologies.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from April 11, 2025, to April 10, 2026.
