Bidder Requirements
To become a qualified source for NSN 1430-00-909-6599 (P/N 1269-2), the offeror must provide prequalification notice to the appropriate government contracting office, certify access to required facilities/equipment/tooling/personnel to manufacture, inspect, test, package, and store the cylinder, and make those resources available for evaluation/inspection. The offeror must verify it has a complete data package including a complete list of procedures/drawings/specifications (including change notices) in its possession, at a minimum including ARLINGTON (3TKZ9) drawing numbers, and may be required to provide copies of applicable procedures/drawings/specifications used to build the asset. Manufacturing/process must conform to ESA-approved engineering/technical data package requirements and comply with Unique Identification (UID) requirements per DFARS 211.274 as prescribed in that data package. The offeror must provide (at its own expense) data showing results of quality/performance/environmental evaluations conducted by the offeror to demonstrate compliance with assurance requirements identified by Drawing 1269-2. Source qualification waiver criteria may be used where applicable (e.g., prior supply certifications/OEM supply evidence, qualification via assemblies/subassemblies, earlier dash number coverage without increased complexity/criticality, or qualification via similar/like items with engineering authority verification). Qualification time limitation includes an estimated cost per unit of $13,860 to become qualified. Engineering data release is subject to Foreign Disclosure Office approval.
