Background
The U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD), New Orleans, is seeking to award a firm fixed price purchase order for the removal of an existing crane and the installation of a new crane.

The goal of this contract is to enhance maritime operations by ensuring that the M/V Barbara Lois is equipped with a functional and efficient 50-ton, 120 ft. (Telescopic Boom) Cylinder Luffing Offshore Marine Rated Pedestal Crane.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Removal of the existing 50-ton, 120 ft. (Telescopic Boom) Cylinder Luffing Offshore Marine Rated Pedestal Crane.
- Installation of a new 50-ton, 120 ft. (Telescopic Boom) Cylinder Luffing Offshore Marine Rated Pedestal Crane on the M/V Barbara Lois.

The work will take place at the following location: 2600 Amoco Road, Beaumont, Texas, 77705.

Period of Performance
The site visit is scheduled for January 7th and 8th, 2025, and quotes are due by January 27, 2025.
