Cybersecurity Pathway: Three Courses, Credentialing, and Related Support

Background
The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is seeking information from contractors on providing three courses for its Cybersecurity Pathway: Computer Service & Support, Networking Fundamentals, and Introduction to Cybersecurity.

The goal of this initiative is to equip students and staff with relevant skills and knowledge in cybersecurity, aligning with industry standards and certifications.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Courseware: Develop three comprehensive, one-year courses that align with current industry certifications for both teachers and students. Each course must include customizable content in various instructional formats, modular instruction adaptable for multiple devices, virtual simulations, hands-on skill activities, assessments to determine student strengths and weaknesses, practice tests for certification exams, and up-to-date regulatory information.

2. Hardware: Provide a list of necessary hardware for each course, distinguishing between required and optional items. Include options for DoDEA to purchase hardware directly from the contractor with industry-standard warranties.

3. Professional Learning (PL): Offer asynchronous webinars/digital modules for school administrators, educational technologists, and classroom teachers covering course materials and best practices. This includes a 30-minute session for administrators and a 60-minute session for educational technologists.

4. Credentialing: Provide nationally recognized certification test vouchers that include pre-test options and retake opportunities. Ensure timely scoring and reporting of test results to DoDEA.

Period of Performance
The contract will span five base years with an option year, detailing specific requirements per year regarding student enrollment across the three courses.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed within DoDEA schools.
