Public Notice -- Synopsis Solicitation Number - HQ003419R0305 Description: Washington Headquarters Services (WHS)/Acquisition Directorate (AD) intend to issue a sole source contract to Chickasaw Management Services for Cyber Security Support Services in support of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA)/IT Division. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act, as amended (15 U.S.C. 637(a)), in accordance with: Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 19.8 and FAR 6.302-5 Authorized or Required by Statute; and, the current Partnership Agreement between SBA and the Department of Defense.
THIS IS NOT A FORMAL REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS UNDER FAR PART 12, 15, OR AN INVITATION FOR BIDS UNDER FAR PART 14. IF PARTIES CHOOSE TO RESPOND, ANY COST ASSOCIATED WITH THE PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION OF DATA OR ANY OTHER COSTS INCURRED IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE RESPONDENT AND WILL NOT BE REIMBURSED BY THE GOVERNMENT. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. The Government will review information submitted within five calendar days of this posting IAW FAR and DFAR guidance.
