Background
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is consolidating its Cybersecurity Support Services (CSS) to enhance its cybersecurity program. This initiative aims to merge services previously provided under two separate contracts, the Network Security Operations Center (NSOC) and Security Program Support (SPS), into a single integrated contract.

The goal is to create a cohesive cybersecurity framework that eliminates redundancies, ensures consistent service delivery, and achieves long-term cost savings while meeting regulatory and mission/business needs.

Work Details
The consolidated contract will include a comprehensive scope of work that encompasses new tasks and mission-critical cybersecurity initiatives. Key objectives include:
- Safeguarding the FCC's critical information infrastructure by reducing exposure to cyber risks;
- Ensuring priority response and recovery to cyber threats/incidents;
- Maintaining situational awareness of cyber threats and vulnerabilities;
- Providing program management, cybersecurity policy support, audit compliance, vulnerability assessments, risk management, security training, and privacy support services.

The contract will also facilitate a holistic cloud-based cybersecurity program solution rather than on-premises reactive services.

Period of Performance
The proposed contract will have a period of performance beginning on or about October 9, 2025, with a 12-month base period followed by four one-year option periods.
