CY25 KAFB Air Show – P-51 Mustang Performance   2

Background
The Department of the Air Force, specifically the 377th Air Base Wing at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico, is seeking a contractor to provide aerial demonstration performances of a P-51 Mustang aircraft in support of the CY25 KAFB Open House (Air Show).

The goal of this contract is to enhance the air show experience by featuring aerobatic demonstrations that align with the event's objectives.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all personnel, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary for one practice flight and two performances of a P-51 Mustang aerobatic demonstration at the Kirtland AFB Air Show scheduled from May 29 to June 1, 2025.

The contractor must adhere to standards outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) and perform within the limitations prescribed by Federal Aviation Regulation Waiver (FAA Form 7711-2). The airfield will be available for performer aircraft arrival on May 29, 2025, with practice flights occurring on May 30. Public attendance will be allowed on May 31 and June 1 for airshow performances.

Compensation will be provided post-performance via WAWF, with invoices submitted through PIEE. The contractor is prohibited from soliciting donations unless they are a legitimate 'War Bird' organization and must not charge admission or display signage for donations. They may sell specific items related to their aircraft but are restricted from selling other items without government approval. The contractor must maintain liability insurance with limits of $1 million per occurrence and provide necessary documentation before performance commencement.
