Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Los Angeles District is issuing a solicitation for the construction of a Vehicle Maintenance Facility at the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Brown Field Border Patrol Station in San Diego County, CA.

The goal of this contract is to provide a complete and functional facility that supports the operational needs of the Border Patrol.

Work Details
The project involves the design and construction of a pre-engineered metal building that includes various systems and components necessary for vehicle maintenance. Key tasks include: site earthwork, selective demolition, foundations, roof framing, building envelope construction, interior finishes, and installation of building systems such as electrical power, lighting, HVAC, plumbing, fire suppression systems, security systems, telecommunications systems, and alarm systems.

The contractor is responsible for all labor and materials required to complete the project as per the contract requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of seven hundred thirty (730) calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

This acquisition is set aside for competitive 8(a) Small Business participants. Bidders must meet minimum capabilities including experience in design-build projects and must provide bid/payment/performance bonds.
