    1. Supply Chain Management Service (SCMS) for V17 is required to keep an assortment of custom surgical packs on hand to support the clinical need of Surgical Service. To comply with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Veterans Health Administration (VHA) credit card standards a contract is needed to cover these items. This requirement is to fulfill Surgical Packs tailored for the surgery department for South Texas Veterans Health Care System Operating Rooms. These packs have been reviewed and tailored to the surgeons' specific needs to treat the veterans
    1. The objectives and standards for performance are stated in terms of desired results with associated quality standards. Custom packs shall be created in a manner that will result in a compliance with the Trade Agreement Act (TAA), and local clinical staff approval.

    1. Period of Performance: One year IDIQ contract
  2. OBJECTIVES: The contractor shall provide custom packs to the Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center and it's supporting facilities, and clinics that as assigned.
Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to procure Supply Chain Management Services (SCMS) for the South Texas Veterans Health Care System. The goal of this contract is to maintain an assortment of custom surgical packs tailored to meet the specific clinical needs of the Surgical Service, ensuring compliance with Veterans Health Administration (VHA) credit card standards. This initiative aims to support the surgery department at the Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center and its associated facilities in effectively treating veterans.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide custom surgical packs that include a variety of components necessary for surgical procedures. The packs must comply with the Trade Agreement Act (TAA) and receive approval from local clinical staff. Key requirements include:
- Custom packs tailored for specific surgeries.
- Standard delivery available 5 days a week, with emergency same-day delivery options.
- Ability to maintain 35,000 individual pack components.
- Color-coded labeling system for easy identification.

Specific pack requirements include:
1. Cardiac Cath Pack:
- BAG BAND 30X30 W/TAPE
- BAG BAND 36X28 W/TAPE
- CLAMP TOWEL 2.5 PLASTIC
- GAUZE 4X4 12PLY
- SYRINGE 10ML LL BNS
2. Other surgical packs such as Major Vascular Pack, Custom Cardio-Thoracic Pack, and others as detailed in the Price/Cost Schedule.
