Background
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Shared Services Center (NSSC) has issued a Request for Quotation (RFQ) NSSC2473132Q for a custom-machined instrument structure for the STORIE project. Work Details
This procurement is for a custom-machined instrument structure for the STORIE project. Design CAD drawings in the form of step (.STP) files are provided by GSFC for each part in the drawing tree listed and the vendor will build according to these specifications. Required coatings include Chem firm 5541 type 2 class 3. Also required is an inspection report and material certs.
List of required parts from the STORIE drawing tree includes STORIE-1501, STORIE-1502-01, STORIE-1503, STORIE-1504-01, STORIE-1505-01, STORIE-1506, STORIE-1701-01, STORIE-1702-01, STORIE-1703, and STORIE-1705-01.
Additionally, the work should be done consistent with NASA requirements as detailed on their standards website (https://standards.nasa.gov).
