Custodial Services, SIPI

Background
The Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) is issuing this solicitation for custodial services at the Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute (SIPI), a National Indian Community College located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. SIPI serves students from federally recognized Indian Tribes and Alaskan Natives. The goal of this contract is to ensure a high standard of cleanliness across the campus facilities, thereby providing a healthy environment for all occupants, users, and visitors.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive custodial services across 20 buildings on the SIPI campus. Services include cleaning hallways, corridors, restrooms, offices, work areas, entranceways, lobbies, common areas, and designated storage rooms. Specific tasks include:
- Daily cleaning of classrooms and restrooms.
- Floor maintenance services including mopping and waxing.
- Exterior window cleaning.
- Sanitizing touch points as per CDC guidelines.
- Emergency cleaning call-outs.
- Event cleaning coordination with Facilities Management/Contracting Officer Representative (FM/COR).

The contractor must provide all necessary management, supervision, personnel, equipment, tools, supplies, materials, transportation, and other items required to perform these services effectively.

Period of Performance
The base period of performance is from October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026. There are four option years available extending the potential performance period through September 30, 2030.

Place of Performance
The custodial services will be performed at the Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute located at 9169 Coors Blvd NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico.
