In support of the 99th Readiness Division (RD) the U. S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to perform market research to assist in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy for Level 1 Custodial Services located at Washington USARC, 10 Scenic Drive, Washington, PA 15301 & Indiana County Memorial USARC, 443 North 4th Street, Indiana, PA 15701.This is a non-personal services contract to provide custodial services in support of the 99th RD. The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation and other items and non-personal services necessary to provide custodial services.

This Sources Sought notice is for planning purposes only. No solicitation document exists currently. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these services or to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this sources sought notice, and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Any information that the contractor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such.

Responses to this sources sought notice should include the following submittal requirements:

Name of Company; Company Address; Point of Contact, CAGE Code, unique Entity ID, and Socio-Economic Size Status (Large/Small Business/HubZone/8(a)/Woman Owned Small Business/etc.) Utilizing NAICS code 561720 - Janitorial Services.
Provide a capability statement for the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability.
What type of work has your company performed in the past in support of the same or similar requirement?
Does your organization plan to utilize subcontracting or teaming arrangements to perform the services of this requirement?
Contractor acknowledges a clear understanding of all services specified in the DRAFT Performance Work Statement.

Background
The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to perform market research for Level 1 Custodial Services in support of the 99th Readiness Division (RD).

The goal of the contract is to provide custodial services at two locations: Washington USARC and Indiana County Memorial USARC, ensuring a clean and attractive workplace that enhances public relations.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and other items necessary to deliver custodial services as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

The scope of work includes custodial services for designated spaces such as halls, restrooms, offices, work areas, entrance ways, lobbies, storage areas, drill/assembly halls, auditoriums, and stairways. The contractor must adhere to local, state, and federal regulations while maintaining effective quality control and assurance.

Specific tasks include:
- cleaning walk-off mats;
- emptying waste containers;
- sweeping/dust mopping;
- damp mopping;
- servicing restrooms;
- cleaning fixtures;
- vacuuming carpets;
- performing floor care including stripping and waxing.

The contractor is also required to conduct business between 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM on weekdays except Federal Holidays.

Period of Performance
One (1) 12-month base year with three (3) additional 12-month option periods.
