Description

R3F-LCF-Cumberland River Operations Center (CROC) - Roofing Repair - The contractor shall provide all associated labor, materials, supplies, tools, and transportation and travel costs for personnel and delivery all roofing materials. The contractor is responsible for all travel costs incurred with the delivery, and installation of all equipment furnished, and contractor personnel required to meet the terms of the contract.
Background
The Cumberland River Operations Center (CROC) is issuing a contract for roofing repairs. The goal of this contract is to ensure the integrity and functionality of the roofs at the facility, which is critical for maintaining operations. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, supplies, tools, and transportation costs associated with the roofing repairs.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform the following tasks:

1. Building #2:
- Remove and replace 55 feet of damaged north side rake (gable) edge.
- Remove and replace 95 feet of 7-inch gutters and four 20-foot x 4-inch x 4-inch downspouts on both the southeast and northwest sides of the building.
- Replace gutter lining between buildings #1 and #2 with 95 feet x 2 feet of new elastomeric membrane.

2. Building #4:
- Remove and replace three damaged standing seam metal panels, each 18 inches wide, with new 1.5-inch standing seam panels.
- Remove and replace 2-inch batten insulation under the damaged standing seam metal panels.
- Remove old sealant and apply white sealant to all outside wall penetrations on the east side of the building.

3. Building #5:
- Remove and replace 30 feet of northern rake (gable) edge.
- Resecure 85 feet of gutter with new straps on the west side of the building.

Period of Performance
Work must begin within ten (10) days after receiving notice to proceed and be completed within thirty (30) days after notice to proceed is issued.
