Description

This is a non-personal services contract to generate Integrated Cultural Resources Management Plans (ICRMP) and perform cultural resources surveys and assessments. All work shall be conducted in accordance with the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) (54 U.S.C. 306108) and its implementing regulations (36 C.F.R. Part 800). Work will include Cultural Resource Management Plans, cultural resources surveys, historic property assessments, development of educational resources, and all associated background research, data gathering and analysis, and reporting.
This contract opportunity is for the generation of Integrated Cultural Resources Management Plans (ICRMP) and the performance of cultural resources surveys and assessments. The work must comply with the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) and its implementing regulations. The tasks involved in this contract include developing Cultural Resource Management Plans, conducting cultural resources surveys, historic property assessments, development of educational resources, background research, data gathering and analysis, and reporting.

The work includes generating ICRMPs for Thurmond and Hartwell under CLIN 0002, and an optional ICRMP for Richard B. Russell under CLIN 0006. Additional tasks involve conducting GPR surveys as part of the HABS, creating indoor displays for the visitor center, installing new cases and interpretive panels, and conducting educational outreach/display activities. The contractor is responsible for delineating boundary and burial locations in the GPR survey without requiring a separate report. The size of the cases should not be smaller than a specific size provided in a link. The contractor is not required to match the style of the existing case. The interpretive panels are approximately 2 feet by 3 feet with no limitations on how they can be attached to the walls. The content for interpretive panels should be coordinated with the Veterans Curation Program to allow veteran technicians to gain more job experience.

The contract will be performed at J. Strom Thurmond Dam and Lake, Hartwell Dam and Lake, and Richard B. Russell Dam and Lake in Georgia.
