Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Central Texas Healthcare System, is seeking a contractor licensed in the State of Texas to provide Armored Car Services. The goal of this contract is to ensure secure transportation of cash and monetary documents between specified locations, enhancing the safety and efficiency of financial operations within the VA Medical Centers.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, transportation (armored car vehicles), and other necessary items and services for the driving, pick-up, and delivery of cash and other monetary documents (e.g., checks, change orders) from designated locations. The services include:

1. VA Medical Center - Integrated Clinical Facilities (ICF)-Temple: One pick-up from Bank of America Dallas Cash Vault to Agent Cashier’s office at 1901 S. 1st Street, building 163, Temple, TX, and one deposit back to Bank of America each workday (Monday to Friday), excluding Federal Holidays.

2. ICF-Waco: Similar service as above for the location at 4800 Memorial Drive, building 4, Waco, TX.

3. ICF-Austin: Pick-up from Bank of America San Antonio Cash Vault for delivery to Agent Cashier’s office at 7901 Metropolis Drive, Austin, TX; one deposit each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

4. Change Order Amount: Up to $5,000 per cashier.

5. Deposit Amount: Up to $5,000 per cashier.

6. Pick-up/Delivery Schedule: Services are to be conducted Monday through Friday after 9:30 AM and before 4:00 PM (excluding federal holidays). All deposits must be delivered by the next business day.

Period of Performance
Base period from March 1, 2026 to February 28, 2027 with four option years extending through February 28, 2031.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations in Texas including Temple (1901 S. 1st Street), Waco (4800 Memorial Drive), and Austin (7901 Metropolis Drive).
