CTOF Opportunity: Beale AFB Catholic Coordinator

Background
The Beale AFB Chapel is seeking to fill the position of Catholic Parish Life Coordinator. This role is essential for supporting the Catholic religious program and faith communities at Beale Air Force Base, California. The contractor will provide non-personal services to enhance the community's religious experience within a pluralistic military chapel environment.

Work Details
The Contractor will be responsible for:

1. General Administration: Overseeing administrative and community coordination functions, ensuring volunteer coordination, service preparation, budgets, and publicity are effectively managed.

2. Office Hours: Maintaining a minimum of 16 office hours per week, including weekends.

3. Information Protection: Safeguarding privacy act information in compliance with applicable laws.

4. Records Management: Keeping continuity files of all work performed under this contract.

5. Meetings: Attending meetings as directed by the Senior Installation Chaplain or designee.

6. Volunteer Coordination & Events: Planning and implementing events such as Vacation Bible School (VBS) and organizing Parish Advisory Councils (PAC).

7. Calendars & Publicity: Maintaining a current calendar of events and coordinating advertisements for services.

8. Resource Management: Submitting necessary resource requirements for annual ministry plans and purchase requests in accordance with Air Force Instructions (AFI).

9. Worship Preparation: Ensuring readiness for worship services including setup and coordination of materials needed for Mass and classes.

10. Petitions/Prayer Requests: Collecting and recording prayer requests for Mass services.

11. Facility Requests: Coordinating facility usage on behalf of the Catholic community and managing cleanliness post-services.

12. Reporting: Tracking attendance at worship events and providing After Action Reports (AAR) for significant events.

Period of Performance
52 weeks base period with four option years.

Bidder Requirements
Candidates must meet the following requirements:

- At least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED;
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Catholic faith;
- Ability to pass a background check;
- Proficient in English;
- Comfortable working in a pluralistic military chapel environment;
- Proficiency in using Mac/PC, Microsoft Office Suite, and standard office equipment;
- Provide a resume along with three references validating education and experience.
