Critical Services and Maintenance Support

Background
The 42d Contracting Squadron at Maxwell Air Force Base, AL, is seeking external partners to provide Critical Services and Maintenance Support through the Next Generation (NG) 9-1-1 System. The goal of this initiative is to gather information from industry regarding available products and capabilities that can meet the outlined requirements in the Draft Statement of Requirement (SOR).

This sources sought synopsis is intended to assist in developing a potential acquisition strategy and does not constitute a solicitation for proposals.

Work Details
The services required include maintenance and support for emergency services from all connected communication sources, as well as multimedia data capabilities for Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs), 9-1-1 centers, and other emergency service organizations. Specific capabilities sought include:
- IP Core Router Architecture
- Disaster recovery solutions for centers facing natural or human-made disasters
- Service management capabilities
- Text to 911 services (both inbound and outbound)
- Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) IP Mesh Transport Network
- Wireless 4G PSAP IP Mesh Network
- Uninterrupted access to 9-1-1 services.
