Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers—Norfolk District is issuing Solicitation No. W9123626Q1AVZ as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for turn-key ordering of mosquito and herbicide treatment at the Craney Island Dredged Material Management Area (CIDMMA) located in Portsmouth, Virginia.
This acquisition is set aside for small business concerns, aiming to control the mosquito population effectively through aerial treatments.

Work Details
The contractor will perform aerial application of biological and chemical pesticides and herbicides at CIDMMA.
The specific tasks include:
1. **Bacillus Thuringiensis Granular Larvicide**: Apply at a rate of 20 pounds per acre, with a minimum application area of 250 acres and a maximum capacity of 1,600 acres.
2. **Bacillus Thuringiensis Liquid Larvicide**: Apply at a rate of 2 pints per acre, with a minimum application area of 250 acres and a maximum capacity of 3,600 acres.
3. **Naled (Trumpet EC or equivalent) Adulticide**: Apply undiluted Naled in ultra-low volume dosage of 0.75 fluid ounces per acre, with a minimum application area of 3,300 acres.
The contractor must obtain all necessary permits and licenses for pesticide application and maintain all chemicals and equipment required for operations.
