Background
The Nuclear Propulsion Training Unit (NPTU) at Goose Creek, South Carolina, is seeking to establish an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for crane rental services.
This contract aims to facilitate the procurement of crane rental and operator services over a five-year period, maximizing the use of commercial practices while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision for crane rental services.
Specific requirements include:
- At least one spud barge crane with three crane operators.
- Two tugboats and one small pusher boat.
- One 30’x 110’ spud barge (open deck work barge).
- One telescopic boom type mobile crane with three crane operators.
- A South Carolina state certified surveyor and appropriate surveying equipment.
All equipment and labor needs will be specified in individual task orders throughout the contract duration.

Period of Performance
The contract has a five-year ordering period starting from the date of award, with potential extensions based on operational needs.
