Crane and Rigger Support

Background
The contract is issued by the Unit Training and Certification (UT&C) Division, a Department of Defense (DoD) organization responsible for missile defense training for Japanese foreign militaries under the State Department.

The UT&C Division is tasked with contracting assets needed to support logistical requirements for both foreign and U.S. military organizations engaged in missile defense training at McGregor Range, New Mexico. This contract aims to provide necessary resources and certified personnel to support these operations, which have been ongoing for 52 years.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform crane, rigging, and 18-wheeler flat-bed transport services.

Specific tasks include:
- Load and unload specialized freight at McGregor Range (Hawk and Patriot).
- Assemble and disassemble Japanese HAWK RADAR equipment.
- Load and unload crating materials with trailers.
- Download and upload Chu-SAM within a 24-hour notice.
- Report all contractor labor hours as required.

The contractor will not be supervised by the government but will be accountable solely to the contractor's management. Services will require two cranes with riggers support for most missions.
