The request for quote (RFQ) that this market survey will be issued against will result in an award with a base period of two years*. The award will be issued as a simplified acquisition and the total dollar value will not exceed $250,000.00 for the total of all delivery orders issued during the two-year base period. This award will expire when the target dollar value ($250,000.00) is reached or when the two-year base period has expired, whichever occurs first. The pricing that is offered should be based on a two-year period as there will be no adjustments to unit prices through the base period of the award. Quantities and delivery destinations will be specified on each individual delivery order. * Depending on the results of this market survey, it may be more beneficial to issue the solicitation with a base year of one year in place of two years. If the results of this survey show that a one-year base period is more beneficial to and to the manufacturer, the participant will be notified prior to the solicitation being issued.
