Coveralls Flyers, Anti-Exposure, CWU-86/P & CWU-87/P

Background
This acquisition is for the manufacture and delivery of Coveralls Flyers, Anti-Exposure, CWU-86/P & CWU-87/P. The agency involved is the Naval Air Systems Command, which focuses on aviation life support systems. The goal of this contract is to provide high-quality protective clothing that meets specific military standards.

Work Details
The items to be manufactured are Coveralls Flyers, Anti-Exposure, CWU-86/P & CWU-87/P, fabricated from AS-PD 24-16 cloth: Cloth Laminated, Waterproof, Flame Resistant, Moisture Vapor Permeable (Sage Green 3736 Piece # 24108).

The new pattern date assigned to these coveralls is June 24, 2024. The technical data is being revised to remove the pocket. The drawing number for these coveralls is 3769AS105 (Part Number 3769AS105-3A), with references to part numbers in drawing 3769AS101. These coveralls are Qualified Products List (QPL) items under QPL-85633; contractors must be qualified at the time of award.

The estimated quantities required over five years are as follows:

The NSNs for CWU-86/P include sizes from Small Short (8475-01-532-9181) to Extra Large Long (8475-01-532-9578). For CWU-87/P sizes range from Extra Small Short (8475-01-532-9645) to Extra Extra Large Extra Long (8475-01-532-9713). All materials will be contractor furnished.

Period of Performance
The Production Lead Time (PLT) is set at a total of 390 days which includes: First Article Testing (FAT) taking up to 120 days; Government review taking up to an additional 30 days; and delivery of the first lot within approximately 240 days after FAT approval. Subsequent orders will have a lead time of about 90 days.

Place of Performance
Deliveries are FOB Destination to three locations: Austin, TX (Travis Association for the Blind); Lansing, MI (Peckham, Inc); and Pendergrass, GA (LVI – OCIE SE).
