Courtroom Case & Preparation Support Services

The Office of Military Commissions (OMC) has a requirement to obtain the services of a qualified Contractor to provide support services for courtroom and case preparation. Simultaneous/Consecutive linguists will provide interpretation, translation, and transcription services to include assisting defense counsels with interviews of detainees and witnesses; court reporters and stenographers to provide written and verbatim transcripts of Commission proceedings; and expert witnesses and consultants in support of Commissions hearings held at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay (NSGB), Cuba; and investigative and case preparation work in other locations, such as Washington, D.C., Iraq, Afghanistan, and other possible overseas location. Qualified personnel must possess a fully adjudicated Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) eligibility and are eligible to be read-on to required Special Access Programs (SAP) as required.
