Court Reporting and Transcription Services

The Contractor shall provide "Court Reporting and Transcription Services" to Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), a public health regulatory agency operating within the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Given a 48 hours notice, the Contractor shall provide court reporters to transcribe hearings and depositions for approximately 25-40 cases per year located within the fifty (50) United States of America and the US territories. Please see attached Statement of Work for more details. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (i) technical capability of the service and items offered to meet the Government requirement as outlined in the solicitation and Statement of Work (SOW); (ii) price; Technical Evaluation Factors: Factor 1: Demonstrate a clear understanding of the work to be performed Factor 2: Degree to which the offerors quote technical approach demonstrates the expertise to respond and adhere to Paragraph 5.0 Specific Contractor Tasks/Responsibilities. Price Evaluation Factor: Factor 1: The quoted prices will be evaluated but not scored. The price evaluation will determine whether the quoted prices are realistic, complete, and reasonable in relation to the solicitation requirements. Proposed price must be entirely compatible with the technical proposal. Please use the attached Price List for consistency in quoting the services requested for evaluation purposes. If required, the Contractor may propose additional services/items that are more compatible with the Technical approach. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All quotations shall be submitted in writing via email to the Contract Specialist, Angela Carey, at angela.carey@usda.gov and received no later than 1 June 2023 at 1:00pm EST. Any questions or concerns regarding this solicitation should be forwarded in writing via e-mail to the Contract Specialist by 23 May 2023 at 12:00pm EST. Late submissions will be treated in accordance with the solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1(f).
