Coursedog Software

A sole source award has been issued to Coursedog Inc for award 70Z03924PCGA00068 for catalog and cirriculum management software to move away from editing using word documents and to create a centralized location for all couse material and degree program approvals.

This one-stop-shop platform is the only software to meed the agency needs for the USCG Academy and the single platform allows fewer intergration points with current RegID software to streamline academic operations. The Academy will have the ability to build its own forms and workflows without contacting a customer support unit. Coursedog also features flexible SIS integrations and data modeling. The use of the software can reduce the administrative burden on faculty and staff with a modern user interface to create customizable forms.

The Academic Division will continue to monitor the vendor's capabilities to establish and meet future acquisition requirements. The Registrar's Office will continue to seek in-house solution development in ReglS with the IS Branch for smaller initiatives. However, currently this is the only product that will suffice the agency needs.
