Background
The Hershel Woody Williams VA Medical Center, part of the Department of Veterans Affairs, is seeking to procure courier services for general and pharmacy supplies. The goal of this contract is to ensure timely and efficient transportation of medical supplies within the Tri-State area, supporting the medical center's operations and enhancing service delivery to veterans.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide 24/7 courier services for the transportation of general and pharmacy supplies between the Tri-State area and the Hershel Woody Williams VA Medical Center in Huntington, WV. Specific tasks include:
- Transporting pharmacy supplies to and from hospitals within a 30-mile radius of the VAMC.
- Providing courier services for general supplies both within and outside the specified mileage threshold.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable wage and hour laws and correct title classification of workers.
- All costs outside those specified in the schedule (e.g., gas, vehicle maintenance) are at the contractor's expense.
- The contractor may be provided with coolers if not readily available but is preferred to furnish their own.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance is from February 1, 2026, to January 31, 2027, with two one-year option periods extending through January 31, 2029.

Place of Performance
The primary place of performance will be at the Hershel Woody Williams VA Medical Center located at 1540 Spring Valley Drive, Huntington, WV 25704, as well as surrounding locations in the Tri-State catchment area including Charleston VA Clinic in South Charleston, WV; Gallipolis VA Clinic in Gallipolis, OH; Lenore VA Clinic in Williamson, WV; and Prestonsburg VA Clinic in Prestonsburg, KY.
