This initiative aims to ensure timely transportation of biohazardous materials and medical supplies to and from various healthcare facilities, enhancing the efficiency of medical operations and patient care.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide courier services for transporting biohazardous materials and supplies as needed. Specific tasks include:
- Transporting blood and blood products, specimens for laboratory analysis, reagents, laboratory-related products, pharmacy supplies, and medications.
- Ensuring timely delivery: All items must be delivered within two hours after the initial call for blood products, reagents, and pharmacy supplies; four hours for blood specimens to the American Red Cross in Johnstown, PA.
- Availability for pickup and delivery 24/7 throughout the year.
- Providing a contact number for service calls at any time.
- Complying with safety guidelines for packing materials to ensure safe transit without exposing protected health information (PHI) or personally identifiable information (PII).
