Description

The Medical Equipment Corporate Exigency Contract (CEC) for the group of Patient Movement Items (PMI) Program is designed to provide sustainment material to meet the Military Services' requirements in times of contingency operations. Contingency operations include providing logistical support to military operations, humanitarian and emergency or urgent relief efforts performed under the authority of the military. CEC awards establish long term partnerships with manufacturers to provide this sustainment support.

The intent is to buy access to material by partnering with industry versus purchasing material and storing in Government facilities. We are buying access to aeromedically certified defibrillator/monitor-recorders. In order to be considered for award, proposed items must be aeromedically certified by all services at time of solicitation closing. The award will include 1 base year and 4 one-year option periods.

Background

Work Details
This acquisition is intended to buy ACCESS to sustainment material (Airworthy Defibrillators) to support Department of Defense forces during contingency operations as well as humanitarian relief efforts resulting from natural disasters per the requirements in the Statement of Work. The contractor shall provide all medical equipment listed in the Schedule of Supplies and Services within the solicitation and time-phased requirements also listed on the schedule. The schedule lists the Services' requirements to support their operational plans.

Period of Performance
The award will include 1 base year and 4 one-year option periods.
