Coronado National Forest HVAC Replacement   3

Background
The United States Forest Service (USFS) is seeking quotations for the supply and installation of two (2) HVAC systems with an optional one (1) HVAC system in the Coronado National Forest in Arizona. The USFS intends to conduct this acquisition by use of simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. A single contract award will be made to the offeror that submits a quotation that has been determined to represent the best value to the Government based on an assessment of (1) Technical Capability, (2) Past Performance, and (3) Price. This allows the Government to accept other than the lowest priced quote. The Government may perform a comparative evaluation (comparing offers to each other) to select the contractor that provides the best value, considering the evaluation factors in this solicitation.

Work Details
The project entails removing and replacing non-functional HVAC units at the Santa Catalina Ranger District Office and Sabino Canyon Visitor’s Center of the Coronado National Forest. The work includes supplying and installing two HVAC systems with an optional third system, as well as mobilization.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance for the contract is from 10/01/2023 to 11/30/2023.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Santa Catalina Ranger District Office and Sabino Canyon Visitor’s Center within Coronado National Forest in Arizona.
