Work Details
The contract involves the purchase of CISCO hardware/software and professional services for deploying Cisco networking devices in the DTX Cloud Hub Site. The contractor will be responsible for:
- Reviewing current configurations and setting up new switches according to FDIC requirements.
- Onsite work at FDIC’s Arlington, VA office to unpack new Cisco switches, upgrade code, and configure devices based on best practices.
- Compliance with FDIC’s Secure Baseline Configuration Guide (SBCG).
- Supporting FDIC in necessary board approvals, shipping configured devices to Dallas, TX, testing and troubleshooting equipment once operational, and providing follow-up support.
- Documenting configurations and network diagrams.
The contractor must have extensive experience with Cisco deployments in federal agency networks, hold expert-level CCIE certifications, and comply with federal security requirements.

Place of Performance
The primary place of performance will be at the FDIC’s Arlington, VA office for initial setup and configuration, followed by deployment at the DTX site in Dallas, TX.
