Background
The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island is issuing a contract for the demilitarization and disposal of various conventional families of ammunition. This effort supports the mission to safely and effectively manage and dispose of outdated or surplus ammunition.

Work Details
The contract involves the demilitarization and disposal of various conventional ammunition types, including 20/40mm cartridges, fuzes, 4.2 inch mortar cartridges, flare/illumination devices, hexachloroethan smoke, missile components, and assets with submunitions.

The contractor is required to have a Quality Management System (QMS) that encompasses all technical and procedural aspects of ammunition demilitarization. All demilitarization processes must be controlled at all points necessary to ensure conformance to contractual requirements.

Firm Fixed Price contract effective from January 28, 2020.
