Contracting and Acquisition Support Services (CASS) - Pre-Solicitation Conference

Background
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is seeking to award an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract for Contracting and Acquisition Support Services (CASS). This contract is essential for supporting the DHA's mission and will have a total estimated value of $225 million. The agency has determined that a single award is necessary due to the complexity and interrelated nature of the tasks involved, which could lead to delays and inconsistencies if multiple contractors were involved.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive contracting and acquisition support services, which include but are not limited to:
1. Assisting in the preparation of initial and final DHA reports and documents.
2. Managing task orders effectively to ensure timely execution of services.
3. Adapting to sudden changes in staffing requirements and locations based on customer needs.
4. Ensuring maximum flexibility in service delivery to accommodate fluctuations in Full Time Equivalents required.
5. Coordinating changes across task orders without the need for complex modifications that could arise from multiple contractors.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will begin on February 15, 2025, and will expire on February 14, 2030, with a potential extension of up to 6 months.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
