Continued Support of BAMS-D Operations   2

The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. NGC is the sole designer, developer, and integrator of the BAMS-D UAS. Accordingly, it is the only contractor with the requisite personnel, technical knowledge, expertise, and technical data to provide the required services. Without this requisite knowledge and technical expertise the Navy would be unable to operate BAMS-D in theatre to provide support to deployed forces.
