Description

The USGS Conte Research Laboratory located in Turners Falls, MA has an ongoing requirement for liquid propane gas to be delivered via automatic fill-up 4-6 times a year to fill up propane tanks.
It is anticipated that a single-award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract will be awarded in response to this solicitation in accordance with FAR Part 13 - Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. Task Orders will be issued on a firm-fixed price basis for various analyses under this contract. The not-to-exceed ceiling for this IDIQ contract is $400,000 over a period of performance not-to-exceed five years.
Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) Set-Aside.
RFQ 140G0124Q0022 will be issued on or about 11/14/2023 with written quotes due on 11/28/2023.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for on-call bulk delivery of liquified propane at the facility located at One Migratory Way, Turners Falls, MA 01376. The average yearly usage of LP is 20-30K gallons, with 4-6 deliveries per year. The contractor must be licensed to perform fuel delivery services in Massachusetts and provide necessary inspections and permits for interstate fuel delivery. Deliveries must be made within 7 days of the request by the Technical Liaison (TL). The deliveries will be approximately 9,000 gallons, or 50% of the tank's overall capacity. Pricing per gallon will be index-plus-fee.
