The Charleston District has a requirement from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to provide general construction w ith an emphasis on fire protection at various Defense Distribution Depots, supported by DLA Installation Support for Distribution. The Charleston District intends to aw ard tw o (2) Multiple Aw ard Task Order Contracts (MATOC) for general construction w ith an emphasis on f ire protection activities. MATOC A w ill primarily cover facilities east of the Mississippi River and MATOC B w ill primarily cover facilities w est of the Mississippi River. Each MATOC pool w ill each include a target of five (5) contractors. Task orders w ill generally range from the simplified acquisition threshold to $20M, but on occasion there may be a need for a task order outside this range. Only firm-fixed price (FFP) task orders w ill be allow ed under these tw o (2) MATOCs. The total value of the solicited capacity w ill be equally divided betw een the tw o MATOC pools ($49,500,00 of capacity each). This acquisition w ill be set-aside 100% for small business concerns.

Background

Work Details
The contractor shall perform all construction activities with an emphasis on fire protection in support of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in accordance with the Scope of Work (SOW) included in Section 01 10 00. This base period covers a duration of three (3) years from the date of contract award. The shared capacity of this Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) is $99,000,000.00.
