Construction/Fire Protection MATOC - Design-Build (DB)/Design-Bid-Build (DBB)   4

Background
The Charleston District has a requirement from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to provide general construction with an emphasis on fire protection at various Defense Distribution Depots, supported by DLA Installation Support for Distribution. The Charleston District intends to award two (2) Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOC) for general construction with an emphasis on fire protection activities. MATOC “A” will primarily cover facilities east of the Mississippi River and MATOC “B” will primarily cover facilities west of the Mississippi River. Each MATOC pool will each include a target of five (5) contractors. Task orders will generally range from the simplified acquisition threshold to $20M, but on occasion there may be a need for a task order outside this range. Only firm-fixed price (FFP) task orders will be allowed under these two (2) MATOCs. The total value of the solicited capacity will be equally divided between the two MATOC pools ($49,500,00 of capacity each). This acquisition will be set-aside 100% for small business concerns.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform all construction activities with an emphasis on fire protection in support of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in accordance with the Scope of Work (SOW) included in Section 01 10 00. This base period covers a duration of three (3) years from the date of contract award. The shared capacity of this Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) is $99,000,000.00.
