Construction. B101M New Electrical Service.

Background
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) requires electrical service from an existing adjacent building to new two-story modular office spaces. The project supports the installation of new electrical infrastructure for Buildings 101M and 102 at NUWCDIVNPT.

Work Details
Provide new 225A/3P Eaton/Cutler-Hammer Series C molded case circuit breaker;
install new 2-1/2\" EMT mounted above ceiling grid, including concrete core drilling through exterior wall and intermediate NEMA-1 pull/junction boxes;
install new 2-1/2\" galvanized rigid conduit (GRC) with intermediate galvanized steel NEMA-4X pull/junction boxes;
install new 4-4#/0 conductors and 1-4# equipment ground;
provide new interior data/comms junction box (16\" x 16\" x 16\") mounted above ceiling grid;
install additional new 2-1/2\" GRC. Electrical work follows Specification and Drawing 22-033A for Executive Trailer Power at Buildings 101M and 102.

Period of Performance
Commence within 15 calendar days after award and complete all work ready for use within 165 days after contract award (estimated award on or about November 1, 2022).
Project sequencing concurrent with Building 101M foundation through April 14, 2023.
Scheduled completion dates of March 31, 2023 and May 2, 2023.

Bidder Requirements
Small Business Set Aside - Total (SBA);
register separately with NUWC Security and NUWC Contracts Departments;
attend site visit on October 19, 2022 at 10:00 AM ET (preferred) or upon request;
adhere to NAVSEA minimum insurance requirements (Workers' Compensation and Employer’s Liability $100,000; Bodily Injury Liability $500,000 per occurrence; Automobile Liability $200,000 per person/$500,000 per occurrence and $20,000 property damage);
comply with on-site safety requirements including safety training within 30 days, adherence to 29 CFR 1910 and 1926, injury reporting, and OSHA Form 300A submission where applicable;
propose and maintain key personnel as submitted, with no substitutions without prior notification and concurrence of the contracting office.
