Background
This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Construct Parallel Taxiway and Construct Airfield Upgrades at Kecskemet Air Base, Hungary. The RFP contemplates that this solicitation will result in a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract award using a Best Value Trade-Off acquisition method. The estimated Magnitude of Construction is between $25,000,000 and $50,000,000. The RFP is solicited under full and open competition (unrestricted). The award of this contract will be made in Euro (EUR).

Work Details
The construction tasks include the construction of a parallel taxiway, airfield upgrades, apron and cargo road base items, as well as various options such as ladder taxiways, edge lights cables and fixtures, apron entrance shoulder pavement, apron exit shoulder pavement, apron kilo mast lighting, and parking apron south shoulder pavement. The work must be performed within 727 calendar days after receiving the award notice to proceed. The offeror must furnish any required performance and payment bonds within 10 calendar days after the award.
