Construct Ground Based Strategic Deterrent Consolidated Maintenance Facility, F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming   3

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Omaha District is issuing a solicitation for the construction of a Ground Based Strategic Deterrent Consolidated Maintenance Facility (CMF) at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming.

This project aims to support maintenance and operations functions related to the new Sentinel ICBM Program, fulfilling the need for maintenance, operations, and administrative offices associated with this program.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the construction of a two-story CMF featuring:
- A slab-on-grade foundation
- Structural steel frame
- Insulated precast concrete walls
- Standing seam metal roof
- Interior finishes
- Utilities
- Communications systems
- Site preparation
- Pavements
- Site improvements
- Site demolition
- Generator installation.

The facility will house various operational spaces including a service shop for maintenance and engineering functions, a warehouse for storage, a battery shop, and a transporter/erector facility. Additionally, it will include management offices for leadership and supporting personnel. All secure areas will adhere to DoD standards. Utilities will encompass domestic and fire protection water systems, electrical systems, sanitary sewer systems, and communication systems. Site preparation involves clearing and excavation while site improvements include landscaping and storm drainage. The project will comply with DoD Antiterrorism (AT) standards and incorporate sustainable design principles as per UFC guidelines.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance for this contract is expected to commence following the solicitation issuance in mid-June to mid-July 2025.
