Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is issuing a solicitation for a major military construction project at Youngstown Air Reserve Station in Vienna, Ohio. The goal of this contract is to construct a new fire station to enhance the operational capabilities of the facility, which aligns with the agency's mission to support military readiness and infrastructure.

Work Details
The contract involves a Design-Bid-Build project that includes the construction of a 24,500 square foot, one-story fire station facility. Key tasks include:
- Construction of the foundation, floor slab, frame, roof, façade, stud and interior walls, and interior finishes.
- Installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), electrical and communications systems.
- Provision of drive-through bays designed to accommodate current Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting vehicle requirements.
- Creation of a sleep space capable of accommodating 22 beds.
- Development of paved parking and accessways, signage, lighting, and all necessary support work.
- Demolition of the existing fire station (building 415), which is a 9,365 square foot facility.

Period of Performance
The expected period of performance for this contract is approximately 790 days from the Notice to Proceed.
