Consolidation Notice

In accordance with FAR 7.107-5(c)(1), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District intends to consolidate contracts for advisory & assistance services previously performed by an 8(a) small business concern. The consolidated effort will be solicited as an 8(a) direct sole-source contract to an 8(a) small business concern and is in the best interest of the Government. This consolidation meets the requirements of FAR 7.107 and the benefits of the consolidated acquisition would substantially exceed the benefits that would be derived from an alternative approach. Therefore, the Government found that consolidation is necessary and justified and shall be available for seven days prior to the release of the solicitation for this requirement. The solicitation is anticipated for release on or around 21 July 2022; however, will not be posted to SAM.gov IAW the exception to publicizing located at FAR 5.202(a)(4).
