Consolidation Determination- ISO Containers Long-Term Contract

Background
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Construction and Equipment Supply Chain is initiating a long-term contract (LTC) for the procurement of International Standards Organization (ISO) standardized shipping containers. This acquisition is justified as a consolidation, combining multiple requirements previously fulfilled by separate contracts into a single solicitation. The goal is to achieve cost savings and streamline procurement processes while supporting customer requirements for both DLA Troop Support Philadelphia and DLA Land and Maritime Detachment.

Work Details
The contract will include multiple award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity provisions for thirty-eight (38) types of ISO shipping containers, including:
- 20-foot containers
- 40-foot containers
- Bicon containers
- Tricon containers
- Quadcon containers

Each container type will have specific contracting line-item numbers (CLINs). The expected value of the Containers LTC is projected to exceed $100 million. Offerors will submit FOB origin container ceiling prices for evaluation, with delivery points determined post-award. Awardees will bid on FOB destination requirements by quoting container price and delivery price as separate line items.

Five (5) year term

Place of Performance
The containers will be delivered to various military bases and container depots across the United States, including locations such as Blue Grass Army Depot in Kentucky and Tooele Army Depot in Utah.
