Description

The purpose of this special notice is to provide the requisite notification of the agency's August 22, 2025 Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Procurement) (DASN(P)) determination that a consolidation of contract requirements under the Joint Allison Engine Sustainment Solution is necessary and justified, in accordance with FAR 7.107-2.

The consolidation integrates sustainment, overhaul/repair, technical/engineering support, supply support, data, and associated services for AE-series engines under a single Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract.

In accordance with FAR 7.107-5(c), the determination will be posted with the solicitation on SAM.gov.

This special notice is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This announcement does not constitute a solicitation, and the Government is not requesting quotes, offers, or proposals at this time. The Government is under no obligation to solicit or award a contract as a result of this announcement.
