Consolidated Mail Order Pharmacy Building Decommission Project 766-23-102 Charleston, SC

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to award a Construction Contract for project 766-23-102, Charleston VA CMOP facility, 3725 Rivers Ave Suite #2, North Charleston, SC 29405. The project involves the decommissioning and disassembly support of the Charleston (Rivers) Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) building and Automated Prescription Fulfillment System (APFS) equipment. The operations at the Charleston (Rivers) CMOP are relocating to a new facility, and the lease at Rivers is expiring. The project is being solicited as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB) set aside.

Work Details
The work involves disassembly, demolition, relocating, and staging for disposal of existing APFS equipment. Additionally, the contractors will demolish building-related items such as walls, bollards, furniture, and fencing. The project also includes coordination with subcontractors, submission of company profiles and qualifications, adherence to confidentiality requirements, examination and interpretation of RFQ documents, submission of quotation documents with required attachments, project management requirements/site conditions including project schedule, permits, site cleanliness and order, scrap and external storage coordination, sanitation facilities access coordination, VA CMOP access and cooperation requirements, equipment contractor's personnel and workmanship responsibilities.

The construction projects will be performed at the Charleston (Rivers) CMOP located at 3725 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405.
